SSC Past Events
We host a variety of engaging events at The Sunshine Social Club, ranging from educational workshops and skill-building activities to social gatherings and community outings. These events are designed to foster independence, build confidence, and create lasting friendships among our members. By providing a welcoming and inclusive environment, we empower young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to connect with others and embrace new experiences.
Beer Bust – January 11, 2025
We are thrilled to share that our 2nd Annual Beer Bust was a huge success, with an amazing turnout and a great time had by all! We are incredibly thankful for the ongoing support from our friends, family, and the broader community. Your participation and generosity are what make these events possible and keep us energized in our mission to serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community. Every dollar raised will go toward helping us continue to offer enriching programs, support services, and opportunities for personal growth and inclusion.

The Sunshine Swing – July 19, 2024
In July, SSC proudly hosted our inaugural Sunshine Swing Golf Tournament at CreeksBend Golf Course, which proved to be a resounding success. The event featured the perfect weather for golf, and participants enjoyed a day filled with great food, refreshing beverages, and an exciting auction featuring exclusive items. For those not on the course, the social hour provided a relaxed atmosphere with live music by Sam Schuring, along with plenty of laughter and camaraderie. It was truly a memorable day for all involved!
